Our re-colouring service is designed to restore the appearance and performance of your court. The process begins with professional pressure cleaning to remove dirt, debris, and surface contamination. Where necessary, we may first apply a moss or weed treatment to ensure the surface is fully prepared.

 

Once the court is clean and ready, the macadam surface is spray coated with two layers of high-quality acrylic paint, followed by precise re-marking of the tennis lines in white. While traditional finishes such as two-tone green or red and green remain popular, we can offer a wider range of colours so you can choose a look that best suits your setting.

 

As well as improving the visual appearance of your court, the pressure-cleaning process helps reopen the surface pores, allowing the new coating to bond effectively. The finished surface not only looks refreshed but also provides improved grip underfoot while helping to protect the underlying macadam.

This treatment is most suitable where the original colour has faded and the macadam surface is exposed. If the court has not previously been coated, the surface can deteriorate quickly, which may eventually require a more extensive and costly resurfacing. For this reason, we always recommend seeking professional advice to determine the most appropriate solution for your court.

Polyurethane Binder

In some situations, it may be possible to extend the life of an older court without the need for a full resurfacing. By applying a polyurethane binder to stabilise the existing surface before carrying out the colour-spray recoating process, we can sometimes refresh the court more efficiently. This option tends to work best for courts that experience lighter use, such as those at private homes or in locations where access is limited. As every court is different, we always recommend seeking professional advice to determine the most suitable approach for your surface.
