1st-Surface was founded in 1998 by Terry Clarke, Managing Director, who has over 18 years industry experience, working for the first 10 years of his career for En-Tout-Cas Ltd who were at the time the leading sports surfacing company in the country, before setting up 1st-Surface Ltd.
1st-Surface has built up an enviable reputation within the tennis and sports construction sector providing a professional and personal service to our clients right from initial enquiry, to the commencement and then through to the completion of the contract. Once the contract has been completed it does not just stop there, we ensure that we make regular contact with our valued clients providing after sales and maintenance services.
Terry himself is a strong tennis player representing both St.George’s Hill LTC and Byfleet LTC at 1st team level, as well as being a LTA qualified tennis coach. Terry is therefore able to provide you with an informed opinion on any works you wish to carry out, both from a professional and tennis playing point of view, having seen and played on all the various surfaces over the years.
Our experienced construction team provide our clients with a first class facility. Each construction job has an experienced foreman running the site on a day to day basis to ensure the quality of workmanship.
