Nylon Turf
Nylon & Nylon sand-filled synthetic turfs have "memory." The fibres are
heat-set during the manufacturing process at 230 degrees and will resist
becoming matted down by springing back to their original upright
position. Our nylon synthetic turfs are much denser than our
polypropylene sand-filled turfs. That is why our nylon products require
zero to minimal amounts of sand-fill. Nylon is also a much stronger
fiber than polypropylene and will resist fading and wear in all weather
conditions. Our sand filled nylon products have been specifically
designed as excellent all-purpose turfs. They give you the best of both
worlds - excellent shot receiving and superb putting performance. Also,
by adding a small amount of sand-fill to you putting green, you can
increase the speed of your green. Nylon synthetic turf does not require
maintenance after it is installed, unless you add sand during the
installation. Whether you choose a sand-filled or non sand-filled nylon
turf, the surface of your green can be cleared of debris easily, by
either blowing or sweeping the surface.

One of the main benefits of this nylon product is its all round
performance is unmatched. Whether for strictly putting or putting along
with longer approach shots this is the turf of choice. The 586N can be
installed in many different environments. It is easy to seam and will
hide the seam well if installed properly. This turf has a good UVA
resistant factor and holds up well in all climates. The 586N turf, as
well as all of our nylons, is heat set at the mill. Our nylon turf goes
through a 230-degree oven, which burns a "memory" into the turf,
providing a superior quality over a polypropylene material that will
become matted over time.
